Poetry // twelve lines one bloom
Clear blue glass bowl: sky’s window pane. Curling sunward with canopies craned: Stark and ardent garden pageant— Twisted titanium filaments in rich elements— Sinews fused undulating, serpentine arches at elevation— Fierce silvergreen jewels waving “Come thirst us”— Ocean’s wayward bounty to blustery burst thus: Roiling boiling pregnant billows Once a year, Once a year— To wreath the dusty living crags in alien rains’ marble baths.
